"What Dr. Dietrich said, dear," Catherine was a bit surprised to find herself repeating, voice warm towards the patient as she carefully tucked the blanket back around her shoulders. At the very least that seemed to be something they could both agree on.

That said, it was not a particularly novel revelation on the doctor's part either. The poor girl was still unwell enough to have been admitted to the hospital and that was very unlikely to have changed over the course of the afternoon. If anything, it was likely to get worse before it got better, and if it wasn't life threatening, she would be on the mend by the end of the week; Catherine had seen the very same more times than she could count. "Will there be anything else, Doctor," Catherine asked, tone flat, left eyebrow slightly piqued in unamused inquiry.
